Why do I blog?
Umm...I have often answered this question (without people actually asking me!). I blog because I like to write, and I have a vivid imagination (un)backed with a poor memory. So all the interesting things which happen in my life fall off into the black hole of forgotten memories unless I manage to log them down here.
Another reason is I find blogging a good way to broadcast to my friends what I am up to. Especially now that I am far away in this no-man's land. Any place you can't dance (even villagers in our country have this freedom) and are kicked out from the restaurant at 10.30pm, isn't fit for human habitat. And they call it a city! So, I have enough and more to crib about. This keeps people on an alert about when I am down & out, where I have been galavanting and what I plan to do next.
My yakking also gives them the opportunity to give their 2-bit of advice, which I may add, falls to deaf ears on most occassions (and there I was accusing someone else of the same offence).
Another reason for me to continue blogging is the stray comment from strangers and acquaintances. Like every other blogger, I bask in the glory of the fact that people are reading and I am prodding them enough to get a reaction.
Today, I found this excerpt. Turns out, blogging is good for my well-being too! Yay!
