When it rains, it pours

Today is a very momentous and memorable day on many counts. From morning to this very moment, have been receiving positive news from every front. At work, my boss said that the client visit had been successful and we will get a large project. Later in the afternoon, my best friend called to announce that her nephew just stepped into the world. I was estatic and later we spent time exchanging notes on little baby details. I have volunteered to lend my 'expertise' on burping the baby from my 15-day crash-course in UK with my own niece. After a long 7-month vacation from work, my fiance has bagged a doesn't-get-better-than-this job! I yelped out as the news sunk in that he starts working from next week itself. The news had parents - both mine and his - sighing relief. Lots of congratualtions did the rounds. And to spread the cheer, I called my brother. He too greeted me with another piece of delightful news. His car which hadn't got any takers since past 2 months just got sold as we were chatting on the phone. So happiness galore all around me...
