House-Hunting

This is turning out to be exactly like my hobby of job-hunting, of course with a few variations. While job-hunting involved getting calls from consultants enthusiastically dangling the carrot of an exceptional offer, not-to-be-missed opportunities, there is a role-reversal in house-hunting. It is now me who is scouring through the property websites, locating agents who can lead me to my temporary abode, atleast for the next coming year. The resemblance is uncanny.
The consultants would try to fit me in the salary bracket; here I am trying to find some place within my budget. There are responsibilities which they would prefer me to take up for the designation on offer; now I hand over a crisp list of preferred locations I want my dwelling. I was in no tearing hurry to swap jobs since I was in my comfort-zone; I am leisurely looking at options of rental houses and PG accommodations till I find someplace with the right balance of yin and yang.
Homes are just like jobs. You spend the most time in these two places. And if it does not click in the first go, there will always be an uneasy feeling, which will linger and cause distress.
So wish me luck and oodles of patience.
